About Us

The Chorale

The Chorale performs a varied repertoire from classics to Broadway and Spiritual to Swing in two annual performances: Christmas Season and Spring. More than 50 members are part of the Chorale, which welcomes singers of varied abilities and musical backgrounds from throughout the Montachusett region. They come from diverse backgrounds - teachers, healthcare professionals, artists, choir directors, retirees - through their love of choral music. The Chorale provides musical training to its members and members of local church choirs. It is a community-minded organization whose mission is to provide high caliber performance opportunities for amateur singers and instrumentalists of all levels which enrich the lives of residents of the surrounding communities.

The Fugue

The Hot Fugue Sundae, commonly known as “The Fugue”, is an dectet of chorale members that explores more creative and rhythmic pieces. The primary mission of “The Fugue” is to preserve the music of the Great American Songbook accompanied by a rhythm section. Like the Chorale, its performances benefit local charitable organizations.
